About Martyn

After a successful amateur golf career that included winning the Australian Junior Championship and the inaugural Australian Plate Championship, he also represented Australia in the victorious team at the World Juniors championship in Scotland.  Martyn began his professional playing career at the age of 20 competing on the Australasian and Canadian tours with top 3 finishes on both tours. Martyn then qualified to compete on the European tour in 1995 and 1996. He has also played extensively on the Asian Tour from 1993 through to 1998 with several top ten placing.

He then turned his attention to teaching and club fitting in 2003 at the Brisbane Golf Club in Queensland, Australia, where he was a resident teaching professional. In early 2004 looking for a new challenge, Martyn came to Malaysia and took up the position as Director of Golf with Impact Golf at the inner city golf club and Driving Range Kelab Darul Ehsan. Martyn is now well established in Malaysia and has enjoyed success with all levels of players from beginners to tour players. He now considers Malaysia home.

• Graduate Dave Pelz short game school
• Certified Mind Factor Coach – Mind Factor Institute (UK)
